We were working with Lee and Mortgage Banking Insurance Group for a number of years and were happy. Then, due to behind-the-scenes corporate consolidations, we had to transfer a majority of our coverages to a different broker.
The new broker’s experience was with individual coverages, such as home, car and life insurance. Our business was a totally different animal for them, and time-after-time it was apparent that they didn’t have the knowledge needed to make sure our insurance needs were met. For instance, they just didn’t understand Surety Bonds. When we worked with this broker to get into new states, we had to go back and forth multiple times with the insurance companies and the states to try and meet the licensing requirements. Situations like this kept coming up, causing a lot of hassle and delays.
So, we moved our insurance back to Lee and MBIG, and the service has been great. We had an outstanding Ginnie Mae endorsement that the other broker couldn’t figure out. Once we began working with Lee again, he was able to get us that endorsement and back in compliance within a week.
By using MBIG for our needs, I’ve found it streamlines the process. Lee and his team are very familiar with the mortgage industry. That really helps speed up the process, because he knows exactly what our business needs and how to get it.
